Advisera is committed to conducting certification activities objectively, fairly, and without bias. Commercial, financial, personal, or other pressures are not allowed to influence certification decisions.
Advisera identifies, evaluates, and manages threats to impartiality, including conflicts of interest arising from its personnel, relationships, financial interests, familiarity, subjectivity, or from providing both training and certification services. Identified threats must be eliminated or reduced so that impartiality is not compromised.
All personnel involved in certification activities are required to disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest. Where a conflict exists, the person concerned will not participate in the relevant assessment, examination, certification decision, complaint, appeal, or other activity where their objectivity could be affected.
Advisera maintains separation between training and certification activities and does not give candidates any certification advantage because they have attended Advisera training. Certification decisions are based solely on the applicable certification requirements and evidence that those requirements have been fulfilled.
Advisera regularly reviews risks to impartiality and the effectiveness of the measures used to protect objectivity and independence in its certification activities.
